As part of the City of Joburg’s Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit Phase 1C project, the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) is starting with construction of the BRT station in Sandton on behalf of the City of Johannesburg’s Transport Department.
Johannesburg’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system is already responsible for transporting tens of thousands of passengers daily. With the extension of Rea Vaya into Sandton, the bus service will be able to add thousands more to its daily schedule.
