The famous Oval Park and Bertha Solomon Recreation Centre received a facelift undertaken by the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA). The project, which lies east of Johannesburg, is at practical completion phase.
The upgrades of Oval Park and Bertha Solomon Recreation Centre included an outdoor gym, soccer fields, playgrounds, a community vegetable garden, minor works to the three buildings to be electrical compliant and a new Caretaker’s facility.
The MMC for Development Planning, Cllr Belinda Echeozonjoku recently conducted an interview with Joburg TV, highlighting the significance and importance of the project.
