SALARY PACKAGE: R 316 233 – R474 408 p.a TCTC (including benefits)

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the role will provide financial and administrative support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, maintaining operations as well as provide executive support to the Chief Financial Officer.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: The role will be responsible to coordinate and organise the Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) diary daily • Collate meeting documentation when required and provide to CFO prior to scheduled meeting • Interact with all customers and stakeholders concerned. • Professionally and effectively screen incoming telephone calls. • Record management and filing. • Facilitate the development of filing systems and maintaining these to meet administrative, legal and financial requirements. • Attend to queries as and when required • Keep stationery supplies and order stationery for the CFO when required • Update and maintain the filing system• Maintain the financial management databases. • Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports • Draft and edit letters and documents for the Financial Management overseer • Ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards within the department • Ensure client contact details are correct and up-to-date • Provide administrative support to the CFO and Financial Management department, in terms of filing, scheduling appointments, advising on compliance matters and editing reports • Process and review all invoices. • Resolve invoice discrepancies • Provide first check for payment authorisation • Monitor payments against bank statements • Maintain accurate records for the issuing and replenishment of petty cash. • Compile CFO claim forms to be approved and processed by Finance • Monitor payments against bank statements.

Education and experience required:
• Matric/ Grade 12
• Minimum relevant Secretarial / Office Administration Diploma or Certificate (NQF Level 5) or equivalent and a certificate in finance from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent NQF 6
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ secretarial or administrative experience for an Executive/Senior Management level position.
• Sound knowledge in Basic Knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations and IIA standards, internal,
• Skills required, business reporting skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills advanced MS Word and EXCEL skills
• Ability to calculate figures and able to deal with problem solving
• Valid driver’s license
