Palestine gets its own Nelson Mandela Square

Joburg Mayor Parks Tau unveiled a statue of Nelson Mandela donated by the city to the people of Palestine as a symbol of solidarity, in Ramallah. The statue was commissioned by the JDA.

Launch of 'My Alex - Youth Perceptions of Place'

#MyAlex - Youth Perceptions of Place is an exciting initiative developed by the JDA to engage with youth aged 18-25 on their views of Alexandra. Participants will receive one month of creative sector mentorship and training, culminating in an exhibition which will open on Youth Day 2016.
